Ohhh I'll go listen! I still need to watch the DVD which came with the CD! There's a 15 minute video of them talking you can buy on itunes too, for some reason I can't get it on my videos bit so it's just audio on my ipod at the moment And last night was definitely so much better than Southampton despite being hit square on my head with a pint cup (they surprisingly are extremely painful!), I think I'm covered in beer and piss but it smells like coffee? Butttt.... JAGGY SNAKE! Guy infront of me was going MENTAL at that song Only like 4 or 5 people around me knew the new stuff and really old stuff, was so glad they played 57 and J.D.I anddd Liberate the Illiterate! I got really excited they'd added in lots of diff songs since the start of the tour I have also decided they have become my joint second fave band with Bloc Party (maybe even overtaken them a tad...) and James' leg bouncing makes me a bit too happy

biffy clyro are definitly up there for me.
sarah i will throw a spanner in the works by saying ive seen bloc party 3 times and 2 of the 3 times i seen them the sound ruined it for me, although those were at leeds festival so can be excused.
shame though because i love BP. ion sqaure, this modern love, like eating glass and perhaps signs at the push are my go to tracks.
the biff joint level with KOL for my best gigs when i seen them last week. gutted newcastle didnt get jaggy snake or liberate, although we did get hero management which others didnt seem too.

Really?! I think everytime I've seen Bloc the sounds been okay. Reading set was the highlight of the last day for me! Yeah I like Kele's lyrics so much, definitely one of the reasons why they're one of my favourites.. but back to Biffy... Brixton was probably one of my best gigs I've ever been to to be fair. I don't think any gig could top KOL at Brighton for me though

^I really love bloc party too - i think their sound is so original, its so different to most everything else out there!!
But definitley i think a bands live shows are really important to how much i like them - with Biffy my face literally melted the first time i saw them and thats really what got me into them in the first place - they played with so much passion and energy. It was similar with KOL too excpet they have a obviously different style to Biffy!! (it was more the way they looked and how they played together as a group on satge).
I guess even if you like a band a LOT - the effort and anticipation you put into going to the live gig kinda has a big part to play and if for whatever reason they dont met your expectations it can be hard to get more into them after that!

Yeah definitely, like if you get excited about a band and they aren't really overly good onstage it definitely makes you think twice. Luckily Biffy didn't do that! Brixton they definitely rocked a hell of a lot harder than the last time and Simon really killed it! So good. I want to see them again asap

Hahaha I've become quite a fan of him wearing a hat I have to say! Have you watched the dvd? I can't remember if we spoke about it... I'm pretty tired today and can't remember what I did like 5 minutes ago! I actually love it, I've been meaning to watch it again but keep forgetting

^Yeah only a couple of times!! I love how they're still all wee boys inside Its so nice when the band are genuine people as well as being able to make great music - it reminds me of KOL and their home movies, sort of gives you something more to hang onto than just their music i think - although thats when you can get really obsessed

Yeah. My favourite bit is when they're at the guys house listening to Many of Horror and Simon just perks up and looks at the camera all smiley. What a babe

Haha you think so? I was thinking about it today and thought he might be using it to keep his head warm! Yeah the balloon bit is excellent, and I love the theremin bit. When he starts headbanging! I'm gonna have to go watch it now

^It could be that but coming from the west of Scotland id have thought he could deal with a little bit of cold no bother!!! I only thought the hair thing cos recently he's looking a bit more ginger on top!! It might be at that tricky inbetween stage :/ Although im gonna have to stage an intervention if he's planning on going back to the infinity land days

Hmmm your theory is a very good theory! And yeah being from Scotland you are right he should be used to the cold. Haha yes I think I will have to join you on that, there was a video the other day from around that time that I quite liked his hair, but I'm pretty sure it was just down to the fact he was drumming. Bless his cottons!

Yeah I like his hair now, I don't like it completely shaved though I have to admit even though Ssssvimon (I always say it the way Ben says it in Love, Sex and Magic haha) is my favourite lookwise, James is right up there at the moment with actual cuteness! Nawww! I found the best video ever of Now The Action... on youtube, from Brixton last year. The guy who was filming is right in the pit and at the end you just see Simon crowdsurfing and getting closer and closer. I wouldn't know what to do with myself I'm debating what festivals they're gonna do next year, I think T is definite. I really really want to go I don't reckon they'll do Glasto though so if T falls through I'm thinking Reading?

^I think all the guys are looking great right now - i love their cords and shirts look, i hardly even noticed that they'd all but ditched the jeans!! They look like proper sophisticated men now instead of teenage-y boys I'll have to look for that vid, any excuse to hear some vintage biffster Im not sure about festivals - i cant remember them ever NOT being at T-bag so i think thats a shoe-in (and i know they love playing for a home crowd)!! And logically they'd do oxegen too??!! I think they wouldnt be able to stop themselves doing anything they were offered since they love performing soo much - they would see it as fun rather than work!! Then again, with the album being out this year and them doing so much touring they might want to spend some time at home (especially since Simon's wife might be forgetting what he looks like by now!!) And im sure Jim must be thinking about tying the knot about now - he's being seeing Lynne for ages!!

I didn't even noticed the ditched jeans til you pointed it out! They're definitely all looking very dapper as of late Yeah I would have thought T in the bag would be first priority almost, fingers crossed I can go! Looking pretty doubtful at the moment though, but I could definitely stretch to Reading Yeah they're pretty busy guys at the mo and it's not like they have their other halfs on tour with them, must be horrible On another note, going back to Ben's hair it looks rather longish (for him) in this photo, I'm sure he never usually lets it get past this point? This photo is delectable too... even though my mum told me Simon needs a shave and a hairwash www.flickr.com/photos/manuelino/4146378416/
