He's in Glasgow I believe, isn't that near you? Ohhh so glad I came in here, just in time too I nearly forgot! Karma! Edit - How cute was it when Simon was talking about people with Biffy tattoos and how nice it was that people have felt they've connected enough with them to go and get their band on their skin forever? Made me smile

Ahhhh! So Biffy changed the date of their Southampton gig from the end of the tour to pretty much the start and I've been meaning to ring up for returns for ages but forgot til today. I expected them to be sold out again cos it's a week to go but they had 10 tickets left!!!!! So I get to see them twice on this tour now, the venue's not the best in town for sound but it's SO easy to meet bands there providing you get there when the tourbuses arrive! Although I do now have the problem of finding someone to go with me but I'm SO stoked

Yeah I've seen a couple of tees I like! Going to try and get one cos I'm guessing at the gigs they'd be more pricey as that usually seems to be the way! I can't watch that footage, I tried to watch some on Absolute before of another band and it never works properly There's the Maida Vale set up on Radio 1 now to watch too, I'm gonna check that out tonight

Ive a mate who loves this band, he also hates kol. Therefore I feel obligated to insult biffy at each opportunity i get. Really pisses him off when i call them 'Biffy Giro' or when I keep asking him if Biffy is the lead singer

Is it true they were named after a Cliff Richard pen? Cliff Biro....Biffy Clyro. My Dad always calls them Cliffy Biro and I'm sure I read somewhere that was true (Wikipedia??)....and I couldn't believe that my Dad was right without reading up on some background info! haha
EDIT: Just spotted this on Wiki -
'The band have never actually disclosed exactly where the name 'Biffy Clyro' originated. They have a series of stories as to how the name came about; whilst being interviewed on Soccer AM the band stated that they named themselves after a footballer called Biffy Clyro who played for Scottish side Ayr United also admitting that they make up stories about how they are named because they are bored of being asked the same question. Another story is that one of the members owned a Cliff Richard pen, i.e Cliffy Biro', which was accidentally spoonerised on a drunken night out. The name Biffy Clyro has also been claimed in another interview to come from an acronym for "Big Imagination For Feeling Young 'Cos Life Yearns Real Optimism".[2] The band also state in an interview for Blacony TV that the band name was that of a Finnish footballer from the 17th century.'
Aaah the mystery!!
