new interview from coachella
parts of this interview are AMAZING (they ask jack and alison about their chemistry at 3minutes its funny) parts of it are kind of awkward though

^ I love awkwardness... I just found this one, the sound quality is a bit wierd, but I think it's a really interesting interview. And it's really long... I love it. And I don't think it's just because it's from & about NZ. (The interviewer, John Campbell, is the leading left wing news journalist here, it's kinda odd to hear him doing something that isn't debating with the PM - but it's given him good interviewing skills. Even if Jack starts interviewing him in the end...) www.3news.co.nz/Full-interview-with-Jack-White-and-Dean-Fertita/tabid/367/articleID/146849/Default.aspx

Although I'm a little disappointed - you make it sound like you declined the opportunity to touch her hair! What kind of stalker fan are you??

Screw the doll, if it was me I'd be well on my way to becoming the first person to successfully clone a human (which is why they should be thankful it wasn't me... )

I got it off that twitter thingy... And I LOVE it. (It's also put me in the draw to win tix to Bonnaroo. Le sigh.) But I dunno how much I want to hear! I like it when most of an album is a surprise. This is like OBTN all over again but with a better first impressionAlso, just got this email: "The Dead Weather, in conjunction with MySpace Music, are providing music fans with the next level of exclusive album access. On Monday, May 3rd, Myspace will be live streaming The Dead Weather performing their latest release, Sea of Cowards in its entirety. The band will perform the album front to back in the live room at the Third Man Records building in downtown Nashville, the same space in which they played their very first show in March 2009. This exclusive live performance will begin streaming at 3pm PST/6pm EST on MySpace Music as well as the band's Myspace page. Prior to Monday's live performance streaming with MySpace, analog is going digital for the first time! Fans can tune into "Screaming Vinyl Live", a 24 hour listening party for Sea of Cowards. Embeddable Ustream players located on both Third Man Records and The Dead Weather websites will be playing the new album on vinyl via a live camera and audio stream, kicking off on Friday April 30th at 10am PST/1pm EST from locations in both Nashville and Los Angeles and will feature surprise guest DJs." I think I'll be at uni during the live performance, but fingers crossed someone puts it on youtube! EDIT: and now there's a teaser for the Blue Blood Blues vid on their youtube (next single? ) If they kill me before my birthday I will be SO angry

you can now get all of the songs on youtube thanks to the band streaming their album for 24 hours and all those clever tech savvy people that know how to do that stuff...
part of me wants to wait but part of me wants to use zamzar.com and get the entire thing!

I've decided to wait till the 10th. 'Cept there's 3 albums that I really want that are coming out that day (this, The National and a local group who probably need the royalties the most but will probably miss out, so my bank account will take a bit of a hit I may have to take my discman (yes I still own one) to uni that day!
