^^ me too! yay, throw some more gigs in during the summer!!! this time of year it's good to see the sights too. Can anyone recommend Copenhagen for a short trip? Copenhagen is beautiful in July. There are many things to see. You should definitely go if you have the chance.

I’ve been there before but in Winter. The Tivoli gardens were beautiful! I went there for a 3 day break and I can’t really remember what else I did……saw the Little Mermaid statue…everything else escapes me. Only problem was it was expensive One can see Art museums, The botanical garden, Glyptoteket which is an art museum with beautiful plants in an indoor garden, Tivoli which is just in the middle of the city, Ströget a long street where one can shop, eat and watch people. Kongens nytorv which is just by Nyhavn where one can get a tattoo. On Kongens nytorv one can find Hotel D'Angleterre which is the hotel where the boys most likely will stay at. One can shop for Danish and nordic fashion in many shops. One can look at the Danish castle and many other things. Copenhagen is swell in the summer plus Kings of Leon are comming!

Don't you think they'll stay at the Skt Petri? That was where they stayed back in February... They are playing at Hulstfred Festival in Southeastern Sweden the following night (about 5 hours from Copenhagen) so they'll probably spent the night in Copenhagen before moving on to the festival... So who knows, they might be around for a chat after the show :-)

I just bought tickets for this show. I speak Danish, so I've decided to bring my little sister there for a vacation (we are American), and after booking the hotel and tickets I was pleasantly surprised to see that KOL was playing there one of the nights we are in town. Perfect!

I'm thinking about going too but the tickets are pretty expensive. I live in Denmark, but not in Copenhagen so I'll have to pay the same price as the tickets for transportation (and maybe even more if I go home at night).
I'm going to London next year so I think I'll combine a KoL concert with my trip. Are concert tickets in London cheap?

Sorry, didn't actually pay attention to the order of the songs. Went to the concert in Berlin last week and set was pretty much the same I felt (please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong!). Only (sad) change was that we didn't get the Devil Song during their encore. But the guys seemed to have a great time! The concert ended up being sold out and people seemed to be having fun. I was standing really in the middle of the crowd and felt there was a good vibe. Half the people around me sang along to all songs, both new n old, and many of those who didn't know the old songs were making comments about "needing to get a hold of some of the older songs!" so I take that as a good sign Caleb was really talkative, saying that he "loved this town", and that they always have a great time when they come here. He had been looking forward to the crowd cuz "it's always great". And said in the end that the concert wouldn't be what it was without us, the audience, and that "Kings of Leon loves you". Sort of corny, but still nice! He did also mention that "a lot of you probably have other places to be and other things to do tonight so we truly thank you for being here with us." Dunno if that was a reference to what's going on in LA tonight and being transmitted on every tv channel worldwide? But all in all I found the concert to be great! Definitely a more chatty Caleb than at the concert in Copenhagen in Februar. Oohhh, and he said that "we'll be back here real soon" so think we're in for another concert soon! Ohh, and one more really cool thing happened: just after White Lies finished (which was GREAT, by the way!), a girl made her way through the crowd, literally walked right into me and my friends as she approached the technicians right in front of us. They dimmed the light, but after her message they quickly turned the light back on. As she turned around and walked towards/into me again to get out of the crowd I realized it was LILY! What are the odds!! Will look forward to more feedbacks on this concert Over and out from CPH!

..................I'm almost lost for words... almost cuz the sound in Forum is absolutely shit, but apart from that............ lost for words :-D I LOVED that Caleb was so chatty, and that he kicked down the microphone stand (as well did Nathan on the way out from playing the encores) - how fucking rock'n'roll :-D YAY! From where I was standing (on the left side of the stage not quite in the front, but close enough), the crowd didn't really know any of the older songs, so when SOF, Closer, Be Somebody, Use Somebody and Notion was played everyone around me went nuts - and of course me and my friend were the only ones in a 7 people radius that screamed along and went apeshit over the older tunes... only I didn't mind, cuz people seemed to make room for all of that :-D Hahaha! For you who were there - wtf was Caleb talking about taking up drinking again? Did he ever stop? :-D
Also I didn't pay much attention to the setlist, but here's what I remember they played, in random order:
Taper Jean Girl Milk The Bucket FOUR KICKS (I've never rocked out so hard :-D) Knocked Up Charmer On Call Black Thumbnail (was the last song thay played, and I'm still sweatin' :-D) My Party Fans SNSL Crawl Closer Crawl Sex On Fire Use Somebody Notion Manhattan Be Somebody Cold Desert Red Morning Light California Waiting Molly's Chambers
(feel free to add to this if I've forgot something...)
I shouted "ARIZONA" so many times, that I actually think I coughed up a piece of my lungs at one point :-D... I wanted to hear it sooooo much, but I can only hope they'll play it when they come back next time.... which I also hope is sooooooon :-D Well... I'll TRY to get some sleep now.... as much as I'd like to linger in this ecstasy of mine for a bit longer, my feet are killing me after jumping and dancing so much :-)
Will also be looking forward to more reactions on this amazing gig :-) (I'm a compulsive smiley user, when I'm overexcited :-D :-D :-D...cannot stop it :-D)

Copy my post over, oh my god, caleb you star, right on the dot midnight and he came out. no pics, but everyone was aloud to get something signed... there was about 10 of us maybe, and he signed everyones except mine, i was hiding behind nicole dozying around with my bag to get out my ticket. anyway he said have i signed for everyone, everyone said yes, i said "oh no" and he looked over just got ticket and he signed it, i said good timing, its just turned midnight (8th july) and its now my birthday, bless him everyone ahed as he wished me a happy birthday, he was shattered and very hoarse, his hair was all matted from the sweat. ahhh very happy white lies were okay but was so shattered i didnt pay much attention to them. when the kings came on, the arena security went apeshit over my camera, first of all no flash, then when ifinally worked out how to get clear pics with no flash, they decided i couldnt use it anymore i explained i've not had problem before, god they were feckers, no one allowed to use flash. got a few great pics esp one of nathan. oh well, everything was hot, caleb said: "i have decided, i'm going to take up drinking, starting from now" and swigged a full plastic cup of what i think was wine in one go!!!!!!! he was in great mood, much like berlin, then he said "kings of leon love youuuuuuu" he was drunk. drunk as skunk. he kept saying he loves copenhagen, kept saying to jared how great it was. black thumbnail and knocked up were the best. caught matts plec on my sweaty arm, so handed it over to kattis, who later got it signed by caleb he did remark its not his plec. things i remember, sexy little wiggle from caleb during manhattan with his back to us. the way he played his solo on charmer, that looked tough for him. matt very smiley. nathan seemed to have problems with his mic apprantly. jared looked over a lot and i caught a smile. when they were walking off the stage at the very end, nathan "done a caleb" by kicking the mic over. calebs "i'm taking up drinking" speech. knocked up, smiles from all the boys during the whoa whoa whoa's cos of how loud it was. calebs smile up to lily during use somebody. finally got a taste of how brill matt is up close. wow, he was on form last night. caleb signed my copenhagen ticket: pics not up to scratch but didnt use flash.
