Thanks Erin. Her name is Sophie. Apparently there was a character in Home & Away called Sophie and my sister loved her. I can't remember her at all.

Sophie is a lovely name. I've never watched Home & Away but a singer I liked in the mid 90's was besotted with Rebekah Elmaloglou, the girl who played Sophie. She's gorgeous.

Thanks Amy.
This is jumping ahead a bit but are you gonna find out the sex of the baby? Or have you decided yet?

Hello again ladeez! This morning at PT my therapist wanted to do something for me but I had already started doing it myself. I was like 'sorry, I wanted to see if I could do it myself, I'm just stubborn that way' and then he told me that's a good thing because if I hadn't been, I probably would've been wheelchair bound already. Good to know it has some use to be stubborn! And then at the repair shop I also learnt that sewing machines can be altered in such way that I'll be able to sew with just my hands when the time comes that I can't use my legs anymore.

Thanks Rosa. I'm so pleased to hear that about the sewing machine. It's a time consuming hobby, so I was afraid I'd have to find a new hobby that takes up a lot of time too. Or get bored, which would be worse. Cos I can't spend all day watching cooking competitions on tv.

Thanks Amy. This is jumping ahead a bit but are you gonna find out the sex of the baby? Or have you decided yet? Yes we definitely will be. We can't wait to find out! I have a feeling its a boy though. I've done a couple of gender tests and they keep coming out as boy. My morning sickness has also been fairly mild which is another sign of a boy. We'll be happy with either though.

Well my sister had awful morning sickness and she also had a feeling it was a girl and it was! So your gut instinct is probably right. She also had a couple of dreams it was a girl, as did i!

Hey guys. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and ruin the smiley thread, but I thought I should let you know that unfortunately I had a miscarriage. We only found out at my 12 week scan that the pregnancy had continued even though the embryo didn't develop, so it was classed as a "blighted ovum". Such a cruel trick by Mother Nature as it actually gives you pregnancy symptoms, even though there's no baby. Very hard to explain too. Sorry to bring you all down
