And everytime i hear Molly's Chambers and the line "whispers in your ear" I immediately sing in a Southern accent and it makes me want to shake my head from side to side which Caleb sometimes does. same with molly's chambers. even if im not singing along, as soon as he says "whispers in your ear" i develop a heavy southern accent and shake my head and say it hahaha. and Sorry to go on a bit, they amaze me even more at the moment.. My love is actually growing even more if that's possible! same! my love is growing everyday. its getting quite ridiculous

The piano on the piano version of Dusty also the talking in it, and it sounds like someones hitting snooker/pool balls? And the fact it ends the same as it starts!

I know it's been said before but the start of Knocked Up where you can hear someone say "Hey dad" or something. Really hits the spot with me, don't know why?
And when everything kicks in during Knocked Up and how chilled out it is and the whistle and the group singing and and the way live Jared and Matt make it sound like they're each going wo-o-o-ah-ahhh as in someone sings each part so you've got it coming from each angle?

I like the way they sing the backing live, it's nearly always out of time but that's what I love about it.

In the version of Knocked Up from Radio One, i actually adore the drums at the start, they sound all echoey and spacey.. just makes me wanna feel all mellow.. and the same version, i think it's around the 6.05 mark, the bass and the drums together. Gets me everytime!
And the original California Waiting, i think it's around 2.20 but i'll have to check.. just sounds incredible to me.
And i love the guitar around the "i don't care" bit in Knocked Up
Oh and at the start of The Runner (i only hear it when listening through headphones) i'm not quite sure what it is, but at the start you can hear little noises
Also, the bass in Soft is amazing!
I think that's all for now.. i'm actually obsessed with this thread

At the start of Day Old Blues the guitar sounds really echoed And second chorus onwards (in the chorus) there's backing vocals.. Thank you to Sorrell for pointing that out haha

I love this thread! Some of these may be said before - Camaro - the way it starts really reminds me of an engine like the noise at the start, then it all building up. It's like how the song goes, waiting next to a girl in a camaro and being in a bike, then speeding off? The bass in Ragoo is awesome! Although I love the bass in all their songs The lyrics to Closer, so beautiful and Caleb's voice, especially the way he says "now" during "where am i now?" the effect on it, so haunting I love Matt singing into his pickup! The way Manhattan fades out reminds me of Arizona fading out, i just wish Manhattan went on for a bit longer, it's so lovely In Cold Desert when Caleb sings "it's cold in the desert" The way he says cold reminds me of substitute in True Love Way? the cowbell in I Want You There will be lots more a bit later

But the demon in me was the best of friends from the start -- the way he says "start", you can hear a little southern twang and it's soooo nice
the whole second chorus of true love way-- "hawwd part", "killer haaand", "your faa-aa-aace" AHH it's so passionate... haha i dont know how else to describe it- his voice is insanely expressive. it's like you can just see him screwing up his face and closing his eyes while singing the killer hand part, beautiful really.
