Yeah.. I'm like 99% confident that they're coming now... Firstly cause they've been booked for sideshows in Australia.. Secondly, there's a music magazine here in NZ called 'Rip It Up' running a competition to watch KOL from the side of the stage at BDO... Awww cool there ya go, u gotta enter that competition Ooooo sideshows, that will be brilliant, bet the play somewhere like the Metro in Sydney, do u reckon?? just a guess, not sure how big it is hehe, i've been in the Hodern Pavillion but i think that may be a tad big, i dunno how big kol are over there these days

The Metro is all good...
I really like the Gaelic club there in Sydney too... They're playing at 'Enmore Theatre' in Sydney... I'm not familiar with that place.. so I've got no idea of the capacity.. But bands tend to go for smaller venues, I guess they want a little intimacy juxtaposed to the mass crowds of the festivals or something..
Like the White Stripes are rumoured to be playing a sideshow here at this placed called Galatos.. Which is tiny! That'd be such a good show..
but anyway.
I remember that when the Strokes and KOL did they're joint sideshows last year they played the Hodern Pavillion...
I dunno if KOL are quite that big... But they're quite well known there eh... Australian's have a really good appetite for rock music.. It's a beautiful thing.
So entering that competition.. that'd be a good one to win.

ben lee is good. i think i am just cynical. Ben lee looks like he doesn't have a harmful bone in his body and his music is painfully addictive. i think i have some unresolved issues with him

i wonder what stage they will be on? especially for melbourne becasue it is going to be a smaller venue. they might be compressing stages.

I reckon they're gonna play the main stage..
Cause if you think about the line up, it's pretty alternative, and KOL are quite a big name in that scene, so it'd make sense for them to get main stage billing...
although I hope they don't... I'd love to see them headline the essential stage or something... But then that means I'll have to missy Iggy.. Fuck!
I heard an interesting rumour regarding the replacements for AFI on the weekend...
Apparently they're trying to get N.E.R.D to step in...... kkkeeerrraaaazzzeeeee
