OMG!!!! It was awesome!!! I just can't steel believe I saw them live!! We got to the place like 4 pm.. and waited like an hour to get in.. Then we ran into the place that was HUGE! so great!... We were at the front.. and we screamed a LOT! I couldn't heard Caleb sing!! I almost die when Nathan looked Caleb and he smiled at him.. We saw Nacho... he smile at us, and in the end a friend saw him, and I told him that I loved him and I asked were were the guys and hi shook his hand and smiled. (Thanks Ana and family ) The guys were great, a lot of people knew them, and we sang all the songs it was so awesome... I just can't believe it.. Some of the songs were: -California Waiting -The bucket -Razz -Slow night so long -Molly's Chambers and others. The guys from The strokes were great too, they played for like an hour and a half, Nick had his hair very long, Julian with the same clothes from Basil, and Fab was great.. at same that Nickolai and Albert.. They sang: -Last night -Someday -Reptilia -You only live once -Take it or leave it and others. So here are some photos I took, I don't have anyone from KOL, because I preferred to enjoy the show... but, a friend of mine took so I'll be posting them soon. Photos:The stage:The support bands:Interama:Don Adams:The Strokes:PS: sorry if they are too big!

That is such a great dual headlining show.....I saw the Kings and The Strokes in Chicago and it was a great show the crowd was dancing and the bands played hard and put on a hell of a show. I think both bands inspire each other at this point....almost like a friendly competition.......Anyways hope all that saw the shows in S.A. enjoyed them and can't wait for the Kings to take a break and record this new album......in Nashville hopefully!! Hope the Strokes come somwhere near Nashville to support their new record also....
Cheers.....

Hi y’all! Well here’s my review of KOL & The Strokes show here in Buenos Aires, at the BUE Festival 2005 last friday: I arrived at 3 pm to “Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires” with 2 friends, but we waited ‘til 5:30 pm to go in. The stage was placed in a rugby field, that was really big. At 7.15 pm Interama, a local band performed; and then at 8.15, Don Adams, another local band played their set. I didn’t like both of them. It was getting soo cold, and a lot of people were arriving. At 9.00 pm approximately, Nate’s drums were brought into the stage and some people started screaming…Some minutes later Nacho appeared and the girls shouted again. He started preparing the guitars and the stuff, and exactly at 9.30 pm, the kings made their appearance. Caleb was with his hair tied, wearing the rhombic grey & black sweater and white jeans, Nathan was with a black t-shirt, w/out the glasses and eating chewing gum. Matt and Jared were basically all dressed in black. They started with Molly’s Chambers and the people went mad. I don’t remember clearly the order of the songs, but they played Head To Toe, the hole ASH album (but not Day Old Blues and Rememo) and Wasted Time, Trani (that was the last one) Cali Waiting, Spiral S., and well, obviously Molly’s… I wish they played more YAYM songs… but well, I cant complain. It was strange that they didn’t play RML… They did a great job, but they seemed a little “cold” and distant, maybe they were too tired, especially Caleb and Nathan. Jared was really into the show, as usual. And Matthew was also in it, not as Jared, cause he was the most of the time looking at Nathan, not to the crowd... :x People sang all the songs and were jumping, dancing and pushing a lot. For me, the highlights were SS (in which Matt fell to his knees during the solo) and Trani (Caleb fell to his knees also, and Matt & Jared were both looking at Nate…sweet lol) Caleb talked to the crowd about 3 times, and he said “…thank you, we’re Kings of Leon, God bless y’all…” well, the typical things. In some moment people started singing the famous (In Argentina) “Olé, Olé, Olé, Leon, Leon…” and the kings started looking at each other, laughing, a little amazed, like ”Whoa!”. During the concert Caleb threw like 15 guitar picks to the crowd but the most of them returned to his feet with the heavy wind. :x They ended exactly at 10.30 pm, without encore… Nice show... Well then The Strokes performed at 11.30 pm approximately, up to 1.00 am. Their concert was outstanding. But that’s another story, and I’m tired. Well, that’s all... Bye- actually, the setlist was:Molly’s Chambers Taper Jean Girl Pistol Of Fire Wasted Time Razz The Bucket Soft Milk Four Kicks Velvet Snow King Of The Rodeo California Waiting Spiral Staircase Head To Toe Slow Night, So Long Trani some pics: www.rollingstonela.com/varios/Fotosymas/GaleriaImagenes_cs.asp?nota_id=751897¬acategoria_id=2

the argile sweater, is also the argile jumper? Ya, I think so. It's ok, I was completely confused by jumper when I first heard it, which was here on this board. Great pictures and reviews everyone, it sounds like the show was amazing.
