Sounds very fun. My friends and I had a similar experience in D.C at the 9:30 club, but now quite as cool. We were invited to the after party and were actually able to get inside. But unfortunately we couldn't muster up enough courage to go speak with them. Then our stories turned into yours and we had to leave because we arent 21. But it later turned out well because we got to talk to Nacho for about 45 minutes outside their bus about some random stuff. Icing on the cake, Jared came out later and we were able to talk to him for a minute or so. How old are you anyway? It stinks not being able to go to bars. Karma for suffering that I have shared.

someone threw a hat on stage at Hammersmith and Jared put it on. i guess it depends on what you throw and if youre actually aiming to hit the band. then youre a fucker. I would love to see a pic of this...hahaha!

I guess it doesn't matter if you're underage or not here in NYC... Like I'm only 17 and I've gotten into the after parties before and stayed for the whole time. I remember one time my friends and I went up to the security guards and were like "We just saw someone trying to get into the tour bus" and they went running off and we just walked in pretty much. I mean, we had passes and everything. The drinks were flowing that night, I didn't have any at all of course. I remember a bunch of these 14 year old groupies giving the guards like $100 to get in... I knew who they were, too. They went to my school. I told the guards who they were and they got kicked out. I think it was either Jared or Matt who yelled "haha suckers, you underage fuckers!" It was hillarious though. It really was the best night of my life... Jared bought me a water so I felt included, haha.

OH awesome. Honestly, I think it depends on how cute you are too. Like, if you're a cute (by cute I mean fucking gorgeous) girl, of course you're going to be let in... I know I'll get shit for thinking it, but I believe it to be true...

Yeah, its mostly bouncers. Some bands are like that too, unfortuantely. Or some managers will look out for girls for the band. I think bouncers think they have to let cute girls in for the band. Even though 99% of the time they don't know the band at all and do it for their own personal gain.

The good thing is, once they're past the bouncer, they really dont have a chance with the band. Cuz, no matter how pretty you are, if you're stuck up, annoying, and rude, KOL will not give you the time of day.

Yea, but these weren't fun items, they were bottles and shit, the last nite I saw them (in Toronto) Caleb asid that someone threw a bottle and it hit the mic into his teeth, and his mouth was bleeding. had to spit out the blood before he could sing. Yea, Not FUCKING COOL! God that happened at Toronto?! Crap...why are there such assholes. Was the gig good? I hope they like Toronto and they come when they put out their third album.

Actually, the Toronto audience was the worst I've ever been in. My friends and I were crushed, it was the first time I had to get a security guy to pull me out...I fought all I could, but I only lasted 7 songs until I had to get out and grab my friends before we were seriously injured. It was disappointing, but eh. The crowds in gen are getting worse for their shows, behavior wise. They're bigger. But I guess thats also a good thing...but the guys that were crushing us didn't eve know the words, they were huge, stupid and drunk. I've never felt so violated. Caleb said that they dint mind Toronto, even though he got hit in the mouth. He was too tired to even be pissed at that point.

someone threw a hat on stage at Hammersmith and Jared put it on. I remember that...I saw a guy with the exact same hat on outside I'm guessing he threw up one so they could be hat twins! He actually looked a bit like him, I had to retrace my steps...thought it was him the first time I looked...Aw was a good night..can't believe it was only two months ago...feels like a year ago...and Brixton feels soooo long ago...I'm losing my sense of time...bugger it! Also, if some people think that throwing bottles is an appropriate way of showing appreciation then I think they need to read the book of manners...
