I have an awesome story about the band I'm going to recommend- So when I went to the Kings of Leon show in San Diego, there was this tall, handsome guy behind me and my friends who kept requesting "Spiral staircase" or "Trani." Then, at the LA show, he was also in the pit close by us and he recognized me and said "Oh you were at the San Diego show huh?" So we chit-chatted a bit about how we were gonna request "Spiral Staircase" or "Joe's Head" (of course, KOL didn't play it but we tried) At the end of the show, I see him walking out of the venue with an equal handsome group of guys and he comes up to me and we talk about how much the Kings rocked and high-five and say "See ya." Well, Stacy (sharin a smile) told me that she saw the guy in a newspaper article because he's in a band called Venus Infers from Southern California. And Venus Infers has been on my Myspace friends forever but I just realized it! And as I listen to more and more of their music- OMG they are mind-blowingly good! (and i'm not just saying it cause they're good-looking) And the plus side- THEY'RE KINGS FANS!! check 'em out- www.myspace.com/venusinfers

I've been a fan of Duke, Cathy and Fionn for a while now! They're great. Seen Duke loads of times and met him(really nice guy) and seen Cathy twice. Going again in December. And got Duke in November! Foy Vance! He's an amazing Irish singer/songwriter with a very soulful voice. Used to play with Van Morrison. His album is class and he's an exceptional live performer! www.myspace.com/foyvance

These guys, The Artichokes, are from my hometown and basically everyone here loves them. I guess they are kinda indieish? A bit like The Strokes. I think they are recording an album right now. The youngest member is actually in my grade at our high school. Check them out. www.myspace.com/theartichokesMy favorite songs are Sweater Weather and Acid.
