I'm gonna get these tattoos: The left one obviously isn't KoL-related (it's the very last sentence from the last book of my favorite book series, in the exact font used on the book covers) and well, the right one is the dagger from the Four Kicks-cover. I have to wait another year though, my 17th birthday is in a month i hate being young. bb i dont want to sound like im judging at all, but do u really think its a wise idea to get a twilight tattoo? i mean i know u love it now but who knows if ull love it this much in l20 yrs u know? maybe u should hold off on that one. The dagger though looks really good!

Yeah, i know, it probably sounds really stupid.. But it's just the same as getting the KoL tattoo really. Books affect me the same way music do and I see no reason why I would stop loving those books, or KoL. And even if I would I would always know they meant a lot to me when I was younger and i would think that sentence was beautiful whether it was from twilight or not

And I agree, a KOL one could sound just as bad. I want want though Plus, even if my some kind of strange coincidence I did stop liking KOL (that ain't gonna happen) They've played a big part in my life and the tattoo could always represent that. It might be the same in a way, with your tattoo...

I don't know what Twilight is about and have never read the books but I still thought that quote was beautiful. I need to find a good KoL symbol or something that I could make into a tattoo.

Ive read the twilight books and i really like them too. I think what i was trying to say is that tattoos are pretty serious. i mean ure probably going to have that for the rest of ure life u know? so thats what i was saying, right now u might LOVE twilight, but later on who knows. Where as the dagger doesn't necessarily mean KOL. but yeah that was just my opinion.

but that quote doesn't necessarily have to be connected to Twilight either. and if i in 10 years or so, don't like the books anymore or w/e i can just say it's a quote from a book i liked when i was younger and i'll still like the quote itself. and i know i'll be stuck with it the rest of my life, so it's not like i'm just going to do it right now on a whim, i have a year to think it through and so on. just some ideas.

It is, isn't it? I would never get a tattoo that just said "Twilight" or anything, but this kind of applies to anything haha. I mean, if I ever find someone who makes me really happy etc I might as well let that tattoo represent my own relationship, you know?

My mate has her bestest mates initials on her wrist and it looks really lovely. Lots of people think she's mad, but I understand that that person has meant a lot to her and for that reason, even if they do part ways, it will be a reminder of there relationship I don't know why people are so against that stuff!!

Lots of people think she's mad, but I understand that that person has meant a lot to her and for that reason, even if they do part ways, it will be a reminder of there relationship I don't know why people are so against that stuff!! I'm getting a tattoo of a half moon on my wrist with the name Chrissy in it (my friend's mom's name) and my friend is going to have the other half on hers with Regina in it (my mom's name). My mom died in 2006 and hers died in 2007. We were really close to each others mom so we wanted to get a piece in memory. Oh and the reason we are getting the moon is because we were walking down the road one night and Taylor said "hey, the moon looks like it's looking down on us" and I said "duh Taylor it's our moms looking over us." So I think it's sweet when friends get tattoos together to symbolize just how great of friends they are. And Peps I think the quote is a good idea. It means something to you, just like the moon means something to me. The quote makes sense even if someone doesn't know what it's from and it's pretty so I think you should get it! SORRY if that story was so long. Hope that helped your decision.

Aw that's such a good idea/cute story Rain (name? ) that's exactly what I'm talking about, as long as the tattoo means something to YOU, it doesn't really matter what it is or what other people think. My mum's getting a jellyfish tattooed on her shoulder hah. She grew up by the ocean and wanted to get something more original than a fish or dolphin or whatever, so a friend of my sister who's really good at drawing, drew her this amazing picture of a jellyfish and she's gonna take it to the tattoo studio and get it done on her 50th birthday in november

I've been thinking about tattoos for a while. I want these Norse symbols (one on each wrist) and I've been thinking about getting 'Aha Shake' on the back of my neck or something but I keep thinking it's kind of lame. How bad did it hurt dusty?

I was thinking of getting "aha shake heartbreak" in the ASH font on one of my wrists, but recently i've been thinking, is it really worth it? god i'd be annoyed by the end of the day about people asking me what it meant :/
So i'm not really feeling the tattoo thing just now
I do like the quote "Beauty is truth, truth beauty, that is all You know on earth, and all you need to know" but thats pretty long for a tat.
