I'm surprised Glasgow and Dublin aren't up there to, they've pretty much always done Newcastle but that isnt either. It would be sweet if they did Newcastle because my bank balance is at an all time low from buying tickets right now

^Ahh lucky you Sarah! I can only do the O2, I wish they were doing more London gigs. I'm so excited but at the same time, as dramatic as it sounds, feel a bit sick thinking I wont get tickets. I'm working all week but I'm doing afternoons this week thank god. Fingers crossed!

Why call it a UK tour when it's a tour of England?

Argh, no Switzerland date. I can't decide where I'll be going to see them. Austria or Germany? Or Italy, if it's in Milan. Luckily there's a few days left to decide until tickets go on sale.I would have loved to go to London again to see them, but the date sucks! I have exams at Uni that day, and the day before and the day after, haha.

Bank balance = zero, amount of Kings shows I'd like to attend = 6 Hmmm, thank god for plastic. Definitely gotta do Manchester, London and Sheffield anyways YAY! Reckon they will wait until London sells out on the 21st then announce another 02 show on the 22nd. Maybe another Manchester gig too?

Not much of a UK tour is it? Instead of doing 2 nights at the same venues why dont they get themselves about a bit? Lazy arses! Just glanced at my flyer I got from the 2008 Dec tour, and there are 7 different venues on there! Come back to Cardiff!!

Just had a quick look on Ticketmaster. Looks like its gonna be £55 a ticket, and thats before they charge you for "service" and postage! A bit annoyed there is no Glasgow date and will have to travel 300+ miles to the closest venue lol, but it's the Kings afterall

It'll be hard to get tickets for some of these, London and Manchester especially- the reason, of course being the 'massive' SOF (chav/scroat/scum) fans who want to see their 'favourite' band - who, yes, really will have had 5 albums by December! I think alot of SOFs will go because it's a fashion statement 'oh look i've been/am going to King of Leon.
£55 a ticket is hugely steep, but on the plus side it may discourage some of the SOFs from going.
Ticketmaster says for the Manchester one, seated: £44.75 (£40.00 Ticket + £4.75 Fees) £64.75 (£60.00 Ticket + £4.75 Fees)
And for London: £51.50 - £69.00

Well I can safely say I'm only doing three tickets now thanks to the absurd prices. Waiting on Germany ticket prices, so cheap to fly and stay in all the cities so fingers crossed if it's cheap I can go (I can't see them charging £70 there because I'm pretty sure people in Germany will not pay 90 odd euros)
A LOT of people have said they aren't going etc, I have no idea what they're playing at. I'm sure some of it is management etc, but I mean double the price from last time at the o2? They haven't even had a release as of yet? Obviously it's upcoming but still... If they're going to maintain these prices I can sadly say my days of following them everywhere possible are long gone.
What gets my goat the most is America get so much cheaper tickets, yet same sized/some bigger venues. WHere's the fairness in that?!
I'm not sure if they're trying to get the SOF fans out, but someone pointed out to me they are the sort of people who don't tend to go to many gigs/are used to paying that price due to the "chart toppers" they go and see, so it wouldn't put them off. The people will be put off are the people who want to see them the most, and are used to cheaper tickets.
I was expecting a rise, £45 maybe... I'd more than happily pay that. But if I'm honest, unless they're going to do a Muse/Lady Gaga and come out and play for 2 hours or have an amazing stage show, there is no need.
P.S. Manchester is the worst arrangement ever for letting general admission in, so unless they buck up their ideas compared to last time (I have actually sent them a letter telling them to!) a lot of people will be paying £55 and not getting barrier like they deserve to after queueing hours....
