I was talking with my boyfriend the other day and i told him the first thing i notice about him was his beautiful blue eyes.... then i asked him what the first thing he noticed about me was. I was told "I don't remember" lol, so either it's something i don't want to hear or he really doesn't remember. So everyone what is the first thing you usually notice about the opposite sex?

Nice thread. karma. For me, it's height. Any guy under 5'8 is unattractive, even if the face is an Adonis. I'm very sensitive with height proportions in couples, so I would be very uncomfortable with any guy shorter than me or even of my height (heels are nice, and I ain't givin it up for insecure shortie). A guy can be unattractive, but if he's six feet or up, he's almost irresistable. I'm 5'8 btw, so I'm not that easy to tower over. Here's looking at you Shaq!

Hair, and face. Then the body. But, so long as the face is nice to look at, the body isn't all too important. I think I noticed my boyfriend's hair first, but I don't really remember, and to be honest, I wasn't really attracted to him right away (not to say he isn't handsome, I just had another guy on my mind at the time, and I was a bit put off by our age difference- sorry, I'm rambling now).

Size and hands. They should not be too big, and must be lean (no pudding under the skin for me, thanks). I prefer big hands, but as long as they dont bite their nails, I am okay.
I dont care about hair, what so ever, and never even notice it.

I was thinking about this, and maybe it depends on who it is you're looking at? The first thing I noticed about my ex was his back! He was leaning over something, and I guess I just noticed he had a nice body, him being all, extended and such.

Shoes I TRULY believe that shoes can tell you whether or not you want to know a guy. They tell you all you need to know.

I met my boyfriend online so I can't really say, haha. But I think he has gorgeous eyes and a nice smile.
I'd say those are probably the things that I'd notice first in others too.

Helps to categorise: guys who wear jandals in winter, guys who wear running shoes with jeans, guys who wear snakeskin pointy things and guys I will talk to

Looks, lets face it, its what everybody sees first, then it can ruin things if the guy is a complete twat, but all this 'its the interior that counts' is bullshit, I know its very important, but its definitely not the first thing you see when meeting someone.
More specifically, I like a guy who knows how to dress and look after himself, and no I am not talking aboug going OTT like Beckham

For me it's a smile. And if that smile shines through in his eyes, I don't care too much what he looks like otherwise. Though I have a preferance for tall, dark & handsome, I don't really have a type; I've dated all sorts of guys, from short (well, 5'8".. ) to a lot taller, bald, mohawked, dreadlocked, long haired, ginger, blonde, black haired, skinny, toned, beefed up, chubby, bearded, acné'd to various nationalities too. But they all had a killer smile in common.
