Judging by what Nate said about 'sneaking in some new stuff' I'd say steelersfreak1 is probably right that they will release the album after the tour.

Hi! I haven't posted in a while but I rushed here as soon as I heard the news! I'm so excited! I'm scheduled to visit my sister in LA (I'll be coming all the way from Asia!) sometime July so this might just be my chance to finally get to see their show!!! I doubt my sister's gonna go with me so I might just watch alone - unless any of you guys are going to the Irvine show and would be willing to meet up Anyway, this would be my first time to watch a concert away from home so I'm a bit clueless - where & how do we get the tickets? Help please? Thanks!!! Ticketmaster. They are going on sale this week.

come to think of it, i wonder who the opening acts will be.
Last year, some of the opening bands were just about as good as KOL (white lies, the whigs).

i'm gonna place bets on the whigs for openers since they just had a new album come out today

I have a question about tickets, since I've never been to an outdoor thing like this before.
Are they going to just be general admission, or are there going to be assigned seats or something? I'm so confused. xD
Also, any idea about prices?!

Prices-wise, i think it said $44 to $56, plus all the wonderful fees by Ticketmaster.
Usually, if you want GA, then it should say on ur ticket General Admission. If there are seats in the venue, and you are specifically getting seats, your ticket will say where you are sitting. Otherwise, go for GA.

Jeesh, I wonder what the difference is if you get the cheaper ones or the more expensive...because the last concert I went to, I got the more expensive ones and the seats were practically crap.

Last year, it depended on where the concert was held. Like Long Island was more expensive than Alabama. We had GA seating for everything.

San Diego Los Angeles and very likely Irvine for me!
And I have lots of cash for this tour-- SWEET! The only problem (and it's really an embarassment of riches) is that I'll be at Disneyland on Saturday when they go on sale. I think I'll take the laptop, and try calling in to buy tix!
I was super excited when news broke of the tour yesterday.
Today I'm still excited but a little nervous about dropping all that money.
I hope to see many of you there!!!!

Oh they're only playing outdoor venues?! Well, I guess they won't be adding any dates in MN then, we don't have any outdoor ones. Ah, that's why they passed on MN, isn't it.... I swear, Shelly...people are jizzing their pants over the new Twins stadium, yet we can't even have a decent outdoor venue for something OTHER than our stupid baseball team?! Hmmph. I still think they should have booked Somerset. That would be soo much closer than Chicago. Fingers crossed I get a job so I can afford to go! Yeah why can't they have concerts at Target Field?! And yeah Somerset wouldn't be bad either, I've been there once. Definately better than driving to Chicago! I don't know if the Chicago idea is still on, it isn't up to me since I don't have a reliable vehicle, but they do have the Megabus which is never more than $30. If you wanted to go taking that, I'd be up for it!

sorry for the double post it won't let me edit my last but not all the venues are seating only. i've been that venue in st louis billions of times (literally) and there is a standing area and i'm almost positive there is standing at the one in chicago too (i'll ask a friend who i know has been there tomorrow to double check) Standing in Chicago?! That's good to know! I HATE seats at concerts! Let me know as soon as you find out from your friend, Carrie!

My cousin went to Lolla last year and she said the Megabus would be a good way to go, and since I only have a car, I think that would be better. It would save on gas, too. I'm having dinner with my best friend on Thursday and she said she's almost positive she can go. So, I hope the trip is still on because I REALLY want to go. I'm almost positive I'll be getting tickets on Saturday.

OH Krystal I am getting so excited!! But I hope you don't bail cuz I had tickets for Nashville last year and my friend bailed on me so I had to cancel, hotel and all, sell my ticket, I was heartbroken. I'm praying that girl with the minivan is still up for driving us, and then Sarah from Cottage Grove (who I went with in September) is up for it too, so with 5 people it'll be so cheap!!!!

Do tickets sell out really fast? It's my first time to purchase tickets thru Ticketmaster. If they go on sale on the 20th at 10am, that's around 2am my time. I don't mind staying up actually but I just wanted to check...

Standing in Chicago?! That's good to know! I HATE seats at concerts! Let me know as soon as you find out from your friend, Carrie! Most of the these venues have changed their seating this year to have a standing section so if you get tickets early you won't have to bother with seats. Honestly though, the seats at venues like these are really not bad at all.....everybody is always standing the whole show but you just don't have to worry about not being able to see or getting crushed. Having all seats was really a plus for someone short and small like me.

I don't mind staying up actually but I just wanted to check... The good seats will sell out quick but the lawn section usually takes a while to sell out. I wouldn't chance it though....I would get the tickets as early as you can.
