Gorgeous pics! Looks like I missed a gig in Amsterdam last month? Then again, I'm sure no-one would've wanted to come along anyway. I need a gig buddy with the same taste. Oh, and money.

I adore the last one. I know, I need you and you need me I was gutted not to see him when he came to Brum.

I'm not going to screencap the entire thing this time, but I couldn't resist doing these two;

Beautiful video, gorgeous Patrick. Love all the animals in it, esp. the monkey in his neck! Have some karma.

So I caved and downloaded the leak (in my defence, I've had the album on pre-order since the day it went up, but I know that's not the point ). All I can say is it's beautiful. The love he has for William just seems to pour out of this album, it's so obvious. One of the songs actually moved me to tears. I'll stop now unless anyone wants more specific details about the style of the songs, etc.

House and The City both sound joyful, so I'm curious to hear the other songs!

It's such a mix, but the overall feeling is one of happiness

Short article about the digital artwork: www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/10488/1/patrick-wolf-short-film-premiereI couldn't agree more with the opening lines of the article: "Why isn’t Patrick Wolf a star? In a world of instantly forgettable Simon Cowell constructs and cynically engineered bands, we need his brand of passionate, literate, wonderfully idiosyncratic pop now more than ever." Honestly, why isn't he?

God only knows. He's incredible and so humble and talented. He deserves success far more than someone who warbles on telly.

Chris and I watched a short thing with Pat tonight on Virgin On Demand. There was an interview where he talked about the themes behind Lupercalia and about his live shows (how he manages to recreate such expansive tracks with so many instruments onstage). He was ADORABLE. As always, he was very in depth and expressive with his answers but he was also just cute as hell.
Then there were live, stripped down versions of The City, The Days, Time Of My Life and House. He was just perfect. He didn't miss a note and sounded beautiful. Chris and I were saying that it's a testament to his talent that they can strip so many layers away from the recorded version of his songs and yet he still sounds amazing.

Sounds really cool! I really hope it finds its way to YouTube so I can see it as well.
