The Mumford & Sons bit is funny! I should check out those Avett Brothers; I only know "I and Love and You."

They ended with I and Love and You. People got really into it. Swaying and gesturing.
Avett Bros is like Woodstock. All love and hugs and understanding.

Hey guys! I joined here quite a while ago but never posted. I just wanted to say hey to the girls that I stood in line w/for several hrs in the blazing sun! It was really nice to meet you all and thanks for letting me hang w/you when I was by myself! And thanks for letting my friend join us. I almost got violent when they finally started letting us in...what a clusterfuck! I ended up about 3 people back in between Matt and Caleb. I was acually next to Carrie for a while. It was a great show. Here is a link to y pics from the entire weekend. picasaweb.google.com/Mandy311/Bonnaroo2010?feat=directlink

Karma for the review Nik...sounds so amazing...and I totally noticed about Jared! Maybe it's because the tour is fresh and he isn't sick of it yet. Whatever the reason, I am so glad, because a happy/dancing Jared is a good one.
I also noticed when Nate messed up Milk...it was so weird because he NEVER makes a mistake!

Love the Roo reviews.....glad everyone had a good time in the TN heat!! I have to admit that I myself have been going through post-Bonnaroo depression and I didn't even go to the concert I had a great time just watching the webcast on YouTube (even though the full KOL set wasn't shown ) The highlights for me were: The Temper Trap, Punch Brothers, Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Avett Brothers, The Gaslight Anthem, Gossip (only heard the audio for them), John Butler Trio, Dave Matthews Band and of course The Dead Weather and KOL!! Hopefully I will be there for real next year!

Finally back home from the States after Roo and *so* not ready to go back to reality just yet Thank you guys for all your stories/pics/clips, will be spending my afternoon watching them all and reminiscing The Kings set was one of the best experiences ive ever had, i suck at reviews but in brief my favourite moments were: *massive buildup/anticipation all day, at various points throughout the day my friend and I would just look at each other with a big dumb excited grin on our faces * making it to the barrier, didnt think it was ever gunna happen but somehow we made it * their entrance, so dramatic as always * whiskey shots * geetar humping * going nuts to Fans * Trani * Southbound * Calebs silly jokes * Nathan coming out first for the encore, gesturing at the drumkit like 'shall I sit down?' * the bunch of girls next to us going crazy and yelling Trani every few minutes * the massive adrenilin rush, not being able to tear ourselves away at the end... There are a million more things im sure ive temporarily forgotten but honestly it was just incredible Other than the Kings, Jessie was mindblowing, I loved Dead Weather, The XX, Avett Brothers, Kris Kristofferson, Fanfarlo....The White Stripes movie....spicy pie pizza....beer.... The heat/sunstroke etc was intense especially camping for four days and I'd be lying if I said there weren't moments when I thought I just couldn't do it anymore but it was all so worth it and now im hanging out for next year, hope to see you guys there... xx
