Pharrell is actually one of the best producers out there - even for rock music. He knows his stuff.
Timberlake on the other hand...well, if I were still an active KOL fan I'd be upset.

some remix's are good but i hated the ronson remix, and ALL the sof ones.

Greaaaat. The best remix is the My Party one off the top of my head. They could have easily had so many better people remix them though like MSTRKRFT and stuff. Their loss I guess  |

I think it's definitely a strategic play to reach people they haven't yet. It's all about the business. Probably won't go over well with true KOL fans, but when else are they going to get a chance to work with so many different producers?...I'm just speculating, and I hope it does well!  |

I don't usually like dance remixes of rock songs. I haven't bothered listening to the existing KOL remixes, but the My Party one cos I saw it was done by Chad Hugo. Him being part of the Neptunes & NERD made me put some trust in it, so I also have trust in the other half (Pharrell) to come up with something decent.
Strongly doubt I'll be buying the remixes though.

And I love that they love one another  But... I can't ever imagine KoL sounding like rh (despite the fact that I had an awesome dream that they did a cover of Fake Plastic Trees). That would be odd. But cool. I think. But potentially lethal. *head explodes* |

We shall see....I like one remix of a kol tune and thats the kenna and chad hugo remix of My Party, if the remixes were along those lines I wouldnt mind!!

i'm actually really pissed about LINKIN PARK to appear on the remix album! i absolutly HATE linkin park...they're so awful...i bet they'll turn a kings of leon song into one of their awful major depressing suicide songs.  why are they doing a remix album anyway?? |
